Suicide Prevention Project
Suicide is a sensitive topic that is often only discussed when someone is in crisis. This suicide psycho-education project was created to support those who experience suicidal thoughts, whether they come and go or persist over time. It aims to help them understand why these thoughts happen and how they can better cope with them and the behaviours that may come with them.
At the heart of this course are three important pillars: Connection, Knowledge, and Skills. With these as our guiding values, we’ll foster a warm and welcoming space where participants feel encouraged to share their experiences, explore the neuroscience behind suicidal thinking, and develop the skills they need to recognise and effectively respond to suicidal thoughts and actions.
This project is currently being delivered in Kent. If you’d like more information about the project or are interested in running it in your area, drop us a line.
