Mental Health Awareness for the Finance Industrymoney image
Why would bank staff or debt collection agencies want to know about mental health? If someone is having difficulty with their finances this can cause stress, which can be a factor of depression, which in turn leads to time off work, more stress and a complete shut down. Even the sight of a letter from the bank or collection agency can cause some symptoms of anxiety. So how do you work with someone who is showing signs (e.g. avoiding phone call/ not answering letters) of mental decline.

Generally people do not like to owe money and banks and financial institutions just want to get back the money they have loaned, the more pressure someone feels the harder it will be to reach a mutual conclusion. This course gives an understanding of how finances affect depression and anxiety sufferers,  grouped with practical ideas that can help both parties involved.
