Mental Health Courses
Mental ill health can affect someone at any time in their lives. It could
be a friend, family member, co-worker or ourselves.
Everyone has their own way of dealing with life's pressures - some more
successfully than others, but for those who are unable to cope shouldn't be seen
as weak or incapable. Knowing that an individual is not viewed negatively can
speed the process of getting the right support to aid recovery, where as
negative views or lack of understanding encourages secrecy, denial and stress
which can lead to a decline in anyone's mental state.
We know that most people, unless they have a first hand experience of mental
health issues don't really get the chance to understand or recognise different
signs or symptoms or even what is classed as a mental illness, that's why we
have devised simple mental health awareness courses to suit people from
different sectors to boost knowledge that will support their work and the
community.
