Community Training Courses

Our community training courses is a unique way to offer
vocational education to those who feel excluded from the
community or have difficulty in accessing education.
We do this by working with learners in their own environment – hospital, supported
housing, or local community setting as a bridge between their current situation and their further
learning or work goals. This method has proven a very effective part in patient
recovery and individual development. By teaching clients in familiar surroundings, our service takes away
those barriers to allow them to concentrate on developing new skills.
By being a community led group we are helping the individuals to make
outside links which they may not be able to achieve otherwise, especially if
they are hospital based. We also compliment the staff of organisations we work with,
by offering courses to support a patients recovery programme.
