There are few people who haven’t met someone who has experienced some mental distress or poor wellbeing at some point in their lives.

Often people feel ill equipped to know what to say or how to help someone who is emotionally or mentally distressed. This two-day course provides evidenced-based tools that anyone can use to support a colleague, customer, friend or family member.

Why Adult MHFA?

− Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues

− Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress

− Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
